Aquarium Do's and Don'ts

DO change 1/3 of your aquarium water monthly.

DO invest in an Ammonia, Nitrite, and P.H.
test kit for control of water chemistry. |

DO add one tablespoon aquarium salt per 10
gallons of water. |
|
DO feed once a day all your fish can eat in
3 minutes. |
|
DO keep a constant temperature of between 76
- 80 degrees F. |
|
DO float bag of new fish for 10 minutes to
adjust to aquarium temperature. |
DON'T
use sea shells or coral in your display.
Anything from the ocean shouldn't be used in your freshwater aquarium.

DON'T leave your light on continuously because
it will cause excess algae growth. |
